First, a notice is drafted to be sent to the party at fault. Next, a complaint containing brief chronology of events and facts, along with details of the transactions and the deficiencies encountered in the service, is drafted. Thereafter the case is drafted, authentic copies of all requisite documents annexed ( this may include bank statements, receipts etc.). The complainant signs the affidavits. Before filling the complaint at the redressal forum, following points must be taken care of:
- A court fee in the form of postal order or a demand draft must be attached
- A court fee/stamp duty on Power of attorney
- 4 sets of the complete consumer complaint must be attached
After meeting these requirements, complaint can be filed to the designated authority in the consumer dispute redressal commission.
